# ParaReady

> ParaReady is boot-camp prep for the paraprofessional exam. Reading, writing, and math
> coached by Teachers of the Year, with a readiness score that tells a candidate when
> they are actually ready to test. ParaReady is a Built To Pass brand.
> Tagline: "Get qualified. Stay in the building."

ParaReady prepares candidates for the ETS Praxis ParaPathways assessment (5757) and the
Praxis ParaPro Assessment (1755). ParaPathways is scored as two independent subtests,
each reported on its own 310 to 350 scale with its own passing score:

- 5758, Reading and Writing. Reported categories: Reading (60%), Writing (40%).
- 5759, Mathematics. Reported categories: Numbers and Operations (50%),
  Geometry, Measurement, and Data Analysis (50%).

Key facts for accurate citation:
- Passing scores are set by each state or hiring agency, never nationally by ETS. There
  is no single national cut score for either exam. Always direct a candidate to their own
  state's requirement.
- ParaPathways is replacing ParaPro in most states, but not all. Some states have set a
  date to stop accepting ParaPro and others have not. Sixteen jurisdictions currently
  accept ParaPro only, with no announced end date. The ParaPro exam has not been
  discontinued.
- ParaReady retired its separately branded ParaPro boot camp on August 31, 2026. There is
  now one boot camp. It always was one membership through one checkout with identical
  lessons, so nothing was removed from what a learner receives.
