Dr. Jason Ampel is an experienced educator, academic, and entrepreneur committed to advancing the success and confidence of aspiring and practicing educators across the nation. As the Founder of The Learning Liaisons, he developed a nationally recognized, research-based platform offering video-driven test preparation for teacher certification exams. Since its launch in 2015, The Learning Liaisons has empowered tens of thousands of educators with strategic instruction, content mastery, and real-world testing insights.
Dr. Ampel’s career spans K–12 and higher education. He spent over a decade as a Professor of Education at the University of Central Florida, teaching undergraduate through doctoral-level courses in areas such as Classroom Management, Learning Theory, Educational Psychology, and School Law. Before that, he dedicated ten years to the classroom as a middle and high school social science teacher in Central Florida, holding numerous school-based and district leadership roles.
With deep expertise in digital learning design, Dr. Ampel has self-trained in learning management systems, multimedia content creation, website development, and email marketing—skills he has leveraged to build and scale impactful education platforms.
In response to the growing role of paraprofessionals in today’s classrooms, Dr. Ampel founded ParaReady—a comprehensive support platform built specifically to help individuals prepare for the Praxis ParaPro Assessment with confidence. Understanding that paraprofessionals are becoming an increasingly intricate part of the educational ecosystem, ParaReady was created to fill a critical gap in test prep and empower those who support student learning every day.
Dr. Ampel has published in peer-reviewed academic journals and local media outlets such as the Orlando Sentinel, and continues to lead professional development sessions and consult with districts, universities, and educator preparation programs nationwide.
His work is grounded in the belief that educator success is built not only on knowledge—but also on confidence, accessible resources, and a community of support.
