Sara Hudson is a proud product of Orange County Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Florida State University and later a Master's degree in Brain-Based Teaching. With 12 years of classroom experience in OCPS, Ms. Hudson is known for cultivating a culture of high expectations and meaningful connections.
Her instructional approach goes beyond academic standards. She engages her students in thoughtful discussions on real-world topics like immigration, health care, and climate change. She fosters a welcoming, inclusive classroom, hosting monthly family nights and building relationships that endure long after her students leave her room.
As a grade-chair, she inspires fellow educators to push their students toward excellence. It shows: her team's fifth-grade ELA scores have exceeded the district average. She has led Professional Learning Communities and now facilitates monthly professional development for her colleagues.
